Welfare and Medical Aid?

Hello, My problem is today my dad bought a car for $24,000 but the thing is my family is getting Medi-Cal aid and Financial aid from the state of california. We put a downpayment of $6000 down and we are paying this car off over 60months $380/month. I got the $6000 from working and from gifts. i am 17 years old and i turn 18 in 2 months. Will the purchase of this car affect the eligiblity of my family getting aid from the goverment? I also co-signed on the title and the loan.
