Vision Surgery Dilemma... Suggestions or Advice?

-8.00 is fairly high for LASIK. Whether or not you can have it will depend on the thickness of your cornea. Many women have babies after they have LASIK. Most of the time vision does not change very much. All very near sighted people are at a higher risk for retinal detachments because they have longer eyes and the retina is stretched tighter. LASIK will not reduce your risk of retina detachments.
