What is the best commercial insecticide, for bedbugs?

We'd discovered an infestation about a week ago. Two of three bedrooms are not usable for sleeping. We need something to suppress the 'little darlings', now...until we can get professional help. I want to find out what insecticide I should buy, and end my sleepless misery.
