Song Lyric Question!?

I heard it where I work, and it has lyrics that go "make melodies" and it's a guy who sings it. It also starts out with "la da da da da da". It's a very soft song. Any help would be appreciated! His voice sounds like Rufus Wainwright and it's soft like when he sings Hallelujah.
