Sims 3 problem please..help me. :(?

I just got it recently and i was so excited to play. My computer/drivers do reach its requirements for this game. For some reason in create a sim the body or some certain types of hair will be spazzing out and glitched and then my desktop will lag, go black and come back, the only way i can resolve this is by closing it. my resolution is 1050x1680 but once i quit sims 3 it changes my resolution and when i try to go and start sims 3 it says this Unable to start game. device 0 cannot run this title. No supported video graphics card detected. Please check your system hardware. (ive also changed back my resol. and still doesnt work). My graphics card is a radeon x800.. its been 4 hours and i cant get this to work \: i have been restarting my computer for the 23183781 time and my antivirus and everything is all turned off.
