How long can steak be left before eating it?

It depends does the package say use or freeze by that date? Or sell by that date... every grocery stores meat department is different, if the date is use by today you will be fine, in school guys use to dry age meat in the fridge by leaving them out for a few weeks, never was man enough to try it but they were fine.
