After-Graduation Trip with Boyfriend--Advice, Please!?

Hello. I'm currently a senior in high school and am planning on taking a trip with my boyfriend after graduation, and I'm wondering what the cheapest options are for us to find a place to stay and live. We're on a budget of about 4,000 or 5,000 dollars, and would like the trip to last somewhere within the realm of two months. Hotels cost way too much for this budget from what I've seen. I've checked out the sublets/temporary housing section on craigstlist and that seems like a viable option, but a lot of those places include roommates which isn't something we want during our stay together (privacy is definately important). We also need a kitchen or something, as we can't really afford to eat out many days on such a low budget. Are there any viable options for us on this budget? Thanks in advance.
